I was born in Manila, Philippines and moved to Canada as a teenager
Between the technical part and the lifting-heavy-things-fast part, barbell snatches are hands down my favourite exercise in the gym
My first job was at a chicken hatchery - I got to see baby chickens daily!
I am fluent in Tagalog (Filipino). I grew up learning Mandarin, which I am very rusty with now. I’m currently learning Español.
I’ve been involved in sports and dance for as long as I can remember, which explains why I can never sit in one spot for long (sorry, mom) and why I love movement. I am an avid salsa dancer, snowboarder, and tennis player.
